HP Elite X3 Windows 10 phone with Snapdragon 820 announced
HP has finally announced its first Windows 10 Smartphone dubbed as Elite X3. It comes with few optional accessories like the the Desk Dock and Mobile Extender, allowing users to connect phones with external display using continuum or extend mobile capabilities with bigger screen, speakers, keyboard and trackpad.
HP Elite X3 Specifications
The phone has dimensions of 161.8 x 83.5 x 7.8 mm and weighs 195 Grams. It has 6.96-Inch AMOLED Display with 2560 x 1440 pxiels WQHD resolution. It also has Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection for scratch resitance.
Inside is 2.15GHz Quad Core Qualcomm Snapdraogn 820 Processor with Adreno 530 GPU. It is backed by 4GB PLDDR4 RAM and sports 64GB storage memory, further expandable up to 2TB using MicroSD Cards.
The phone has IP67 rating for dust/water resistance and has MIL-STD-810 rating, that makes the device sturdy enough to sustain drops from up to 1 meters. The handset runs on Windows 10 OS out of the box and comes with Fingerprint sensor and IRIS Scanner.
The HP Elite X3 Specs also include 16MP main shooter on the back with F/2.0 Aperture, LED Flash and Auto Focus capabilities. Ont he front is 8MP FHD Iris Camera as well.
The hardware is backed by 4150 mAh Li-Ion Polymer non removable battery that supports quick charging. Connectivity options include 4G-LTE, 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (2×2), Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth V4.0 LE, Combo USB 3.0 Ports with Type-C connector, GPS, 3.5mm Audio Jack etc.
