Gionee expands its S Series of phone with the launch of Elife S7 smartphone at MWC 2015 event in Barcelona. It is priced at Euro 399 which converts to US$ 448 or Rs. 27,750. It comes in White, Black, Pink and Blue color options and will reach Indian shores on April 3, 2015.

It is not the slimmest phone as the phone measurements are 139.8 x 67.4 x 5.5 mm. It is has a magnesium alloy frame along corning gorilla glass 3 protection on the back cover, ensuring the sturdy build quality.

Inside is a 1.7GHz Octa Core MediaTek MT6752 Processor and Mali-T760 GPU coupled with 2GB RAM for lag free performance. There is 16GB of Internal storage which non expandable.
Gionee has include a decent 8 mega pixel selfie camera on the front along with a powerful 13 mega pixel main shooter on the back. Some of the camera features are LED Flash, Sony IMX214 Sensor, Wide angle lens, Auto Focus, Touch Focus, Digital Zoom, HDR, Geo-Tagging, 1080p Video Recording etc.
Apart from Dual SIM slots, this handset supports 4G-LTE (even in India), Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth V4.0, MicroUSB V2.0, USB OTG, A-GPS, 3.5mm Audio Jack etc. The hardware is backed with a powerful 2700 mAh battery that keeps the phone alive for hours of usage.
