Doogee Y300 to have 5″ 720p Display, 2GB RAM, Android M, more
Shenzhen based Doogee is gearing up for the launch of its newest smartphone named the Y300.
The Y300, will be the first from the company to run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. It will be have more user-friendly features and will be close to (there are changes thou) pure-white OS experience.
Latest Android 6.0 UI changes the font of clock and date in lock screen. It also has alarm volume quick adjustment and APP permission setting for added security.
In terms of looks, this cell phone sports ultra-thing body that measure at just 6mm on the thinnest part. It has a 5.5-Inch in-Cell Screen that gives 1280 x 720 pixels resolution and has 84% screen to body ratio. It will have 2.5D dual-sided glass and arc metal frame on both the sides.
The Doogee Y300 will have Quad Core MediaTek MT6735 (64-Bit) Processor with 2GB LPDDR3 RAM and 32GB (26GB use available) of internal storage space and is expandable up to 32GB using MicroSD Card. Phone’s camera will make up of 5MP (OV 8.0MP) on the front and 8MP (SW13.0MP) Auto Focus camera on the back with Sony IMX219 sensor that takes super night shots. Company has also managed to include an independent sound chamber speaker for optimum sound output.
The handset comes with 2200 mAh Li-Po battery that will fuel the hardware. It gives up to 680 minutes of talk time and 72 hours of standby. Connectivity options like 4G-LTE (150/50 Mbps)(bands 1/3/7/20), 3G HSPA+ (900/2300 MHz), Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth V4.0, MicroUSB V2.0, GPS, 3.5mm Audio Jack will be present as well.
Other features include Dual Micro SIM, Finger print recognition, HotKnot and OTG along with Light, Proximity Sensor and Accelerometer. Phone comes in Black and White color options.
