Telefónica, BQ and Cyanogen Inc have come together and launched a new 4G LTE smartphone named the Aquaris X5. It is priced at 209 Euros (Rs. 14,870 / US$ 225) (also available via Movistar commercial network) and will go on sale in Spain from today itself. UK and Germany will get the stocks in coming weeks. Other markets will get the phone in 2016.
BQ Aquaris X5 Specifications
The phone has measurements of 144.4 x 70.5 x 7.5 mm and weighs 148 Grams. It has dual nano SIM slots that support 4G-LTE networks (Band 1/3/7/20). It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS based Cyanogen OS 12.1.
The BQ Aquaris X5 Specs include 5-Inch IPS Display that gives 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. It has 85% NTSC and sports Asahi Dragontrail scratch resistant glass protection.
1.4GHz Quad Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 412 MSM8916T (64-Bit) processor powers the handset along with Adreno 306 GPU. It has 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage space, further expandable up to 32GB using MicroSD Card.
This mobile phone sports a 13MP mains snapper on the back with Sony IMX214 Sensor, F/2.0 Aperture, 5P Lens, 1/3.06-Inch Sensor Size, Dual LED Flash, Auto Focus and 1080p video recording. On the front is a secondary 5MP selfie camera that makes up of Samsung 5E2 Sensor, F/2.0 Aperture, 4P Lens and LED Flash.
The BQ Aquaris X5 features a 2900 mAh battery inside that keeps the device alive. It also supports Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth V4.0, MIcroUSB V2.0, USB OTG, GPS, FM Radio, 3.5mm Audio jack etc.
