BQ Aquaris M10 Ubuntu Edition tablet announced – Key Specs

Spanish OEM Bq and Canonical has come together and has announced the Aquaris M10 Ubuntu Edition Tablet. It will go on sale globally from Q2 2016 and is rumored to have price-tag of 250 Euros (Rs. 18,930 / US$ 280).

BQ Aquaris M10 Ubuntu Edition Specifications

The tablet has measurements of 246 x 171 x 8.2 mm and weighs 470 grams. It has 10.1-inch IPS Display that gives 1920 x 1200 pixels resolution at 16:10 aspect ratio.

The Aquaris M10 specs include 1.5GHz Quad Core MediaTek MT8163A processor with 2GB RAM. It has 16GB of on-board storage further expandable up to 64GB using MicroSD Card.

It runs on Ubuntu OS and allows users to switch to and Ubuntu PC when connected with Bluetooth mouse or keyboard. The tablet has 5MP front camera and 8MP main shooter on the back with Dual LED flash, Auto Focus and supports 1080p video recording.

The hardware is juiced up by 7280 mAh battery. It has front facing speakers and includes Dolby Atmos support. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth V4.0, MicroUSB V2.0, USB OTG, Micro HDMI, 3.5mm Audio jack etc.
