Asus X555 Series notebooks launched in India – Specs, Price

Asus, one of the known brands when it comes to Laptop manufacturers, has launched the X55LJ-XX177H and X555LJ-XX132H laptops in India that fall in its X555 Series. Pricing of these devices starts at Rs. 28,999 and will be available from Asus exclusive stores.

Asus X555LJ-XX177H and X555LJ-XX132H specifications

Both of the devices are almost the same, boasting a 15.6-Inch LED Back-lit Display and has 1366 x 768 pixels resolution and 16:9 aspect ratio. They run on Windows 8.1 64-Bit operating system and sports a VGA camera on the front side.

Other common Specs of X555 Series laptops include 1TB 2.5-Inch Hard Disk drive at 5400 RPM, 37WHrs 2S1p 2-cell Li-Ion polymer battery along with Asus Sonic Master audio for enhanced sound output. They also have Super multi / Doubled layer optical drive and supports Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth V4.0, HDMI 1.4, and SDXC.

Both the laptops have ample of ports that include USB 3.0 x 2, USB 2.0 x 1, RJ45 Lan, VGA (D-Sub) and Headphone / Audio out/in jack.  Asus X555 series laptops have 348mm keyboard with 19mm full size key pitch along with numeric keypad integrated inside.

Only difference between the X555LJ-XX177H and X555LJ-XX132H is that the former is powered by a 2.1GHz Core i3-5010U processor with 3M cache, 2GB DDR3 RAM and Intel HD Grpahics 5500. The latter gets the processing power from 2.2GHz (Burst up to 2.7) Core i5-5200U processor with 3M Cache, Intel HD Graphics 5500 and 4GB DDR RAM.

These laptops also have NVIDIA GeForce 920M (2GB) graphics card inside for better gaming performance.
