ARCHOS Diamond 2 Note with 6-Inch Quad HD Display, Helio X10, 3GB RAM announced

Just recently ARCHOS has announced its 50d Oxygen phone and now, Company has announced its latest phone named the Diamond 2 Note smartphone.

It will be showcased at MWC 2016 from Feb 22 – 25 2016 and is priced at  €299 / £249 / $279 ( Rs. 19,150 approx.). It comes in Silver color.

ARCHOS Diamond 2 Note Specifications

This mobile phone has Hybrid Dual SIM slots (micro SIM + Nano SIM) of which Nano SIM slot can also be used for MicroSD cards. The phone has measurements of 158.35 x 82.7 x 8.7 mm and weighs 150 Grams.

The phone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS and has Smart PA sound amplification and Infrared LED for Remote support. It has a powerful Sony made 3610 mAh built-in Battery with Fast Charging capabilities.

The ARCHOS Diamond 2 Note Specs include 6-Inch 2.5D IPS Full Lamination border-less Screen that has Gorilla Glass 3 protection for scratch resistance. The display gives 2560 x 1440 pixels Quad HD resolution and supports multi-touch.


Under the hood is 2GHz Octa Core 64-Bit MT6795 MediaTek Helio X10 Processor coupled with PowerVR G6200 GPU for Graphics. The chipset is backed by 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage space, further expandable up to 128GB using MicroSD card.

This Mobile phone features a powerful 16MP main camera on the back with F/2.0 Aperture, Dual LED Flash, PDAF and supports 4K video recording. On the front is 8MP secondary camera for selfies that has F/2.2 Aperture and 84-degree wide angle lens.

The Diamond 2 Note supports 4G-LTE / 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V4.1, MicroUSB V2.0, GPS, 3.5mm Audio Jack etc.
