Android 4.3 Jelly Bean Update for Galaxy Note 2 available: Features

Good news for Samsung Galaxy Note 2 users.  Samsung has finally released the much awaited Android 4.3 Jelly Bean Update for Galaxy Note 2 phones. Update is now live and is available via OTA. Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update can also be downloaded / installed via Samsung’s very own KIES software. Update is available in India as well. Update is almost of 700mb so Galaxy Note 2 and brings in variety of changes.

Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update for Galaxy Note 2 is very stable unlike the one in S3. This huge update brings in new Samsung S-Voice which was originally found in Galaxy S4. New Full screen Samsung Apps support with additional Applications upgrades to Clock, Calculator, Contacts, Gallery and Music. Samsung KNOX and Samsung Wallet also comes Preloaded.

Core UI Elements have been updated which would give out galaxy S4 feel. There is a tweaked Settings UI with a new tabbed interface, Voice control support also added to access the phone features using vocal commands.

There are new additions to notification center, Move to SD Card feature, Driving Mode, Daydream, new Screen Modes. There is all new lock screen that will now support multiple widgets. For Messaging, Samsung has changed the Keyboard as well. For Benchmark, GPU drivers are also updated, thus improving the benchmark performance along with RAM management and optimization. Update also brings in Trim support.

With the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean Update for Galaxy Note 2, Samsung has also added Galaxy Gear Support to the device.
