Amazon Fire Phone Full Specifications, Price

Amazon has finally made official its first smartphone dubbed the Amazon Fire Phone. The phone is up for pre-order on Amazon and will start shipping from July 25, 204.

The device is exclusively available on AT&T carrier in US for $649 commitment free price. Potential users interested in getting the phone on contract will have to shed $199 for 2 Years contract with AT&T for 32GB Variant. The 64GB option is slightly priced higher at $299. Carrier’s Next plans are also available at $27 / Month.

Amazon Fire Phone Specifications, Features

The Amazon Fire Phone has a unique 3D UI called as Dynamic Perspective. It takes advantage of four uniquely placed front facing camera and responds to how one holds, view and move the phone. One can use features like Tilt, Swivel, auto scroll (similar to Samsung’s Smart Scroll) and peek to navigate menus or access short cuts. The bellow image animation should explain this feature.

The phone has a dedicated button for Firefly Technology use. One can press it any time and identify in matter of seconds the QR / Bar codes, Printed Web, email addresses, Movies, TV Episodes, Songs etc. Amazon claims that the option can identify more that 100 million items.

In terms of Specifications, the phone measures in at 139.2 x 66.5 x 8.9 mm (H x W x D) and weighs in at 160 Grams. The Amazon Fire Phone Features 4.7-Inch IPS LCD Display with HD Resolution of 1280 x 720 Pixels. The pixel density of the screen is set at 312ppi. Moreover, the device has Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection on front and the back.

The phone is a power house that gets its processing power from 2.2GHz Quad Core Krait 400 Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 Processor coupled with Adreno 330 GPU and 2GB of RAM. There is a 2400 mAh non removable battery fitted inside the phone to fuel up to device for long hours.

The Amazon Fire Phone comes in two storage options of 32GB / 64GB and runs on Amazons Fire OS V3.5. The phone has 2.1 Mega Pixel camera on the front for video calling. On the back is a 13 Mega Pixel Sensor with multi frame HDR, auto focus, optical image stabilization, f/2.0 5-element wide aperture lens and LED flash.

The Amazon Fire Phone is 2G, 3G and 4G-LTE capable and supports most of the network bands. It also has options like Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Dual Band, Bluetooth V3.0, Micro USB V2.0, GPS Support, NFC, 3.5mm Audio Jack and Stereo speakers that support Dolby Digital Plus sound enhancement.
