Allview, a Romanian brand known for integrating the Chinese hardware has launched the X2 Xtreme smartphone in Romania. It is said to be a rebranded Gionee Elife E8 smartphone. The handset will go on sale in the country from August 15, 2015 and will cost US$554 approximately.

This dual SIM mobile phone has measurements of 164 x 82 x 9.6 mm and weighs 204.4 Grams. It supports 4G-LTE (800 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 / 2100 / 2300 / 2600 MHz) bands and can reach Cat4 speeds of 150 Mbps / 50 Mbps.
The X2 Xtreme specs include a big 6-Inch Active Matrix organic LED Display made using One Glass Solution technology. The phone gets the processing power from a 64-Bit 2GHz Octa Core MediaTek MT6795 Processor coupled with Power VR Rogue G6200 GPU (700MHz).
For smooth multi-tasking experience, company has included 3GB RAM and 64GB built in storage ROM. Further storage expansion up to 128GB is also possible. The 3500 mAh Li-Po battery easily gives up to 12 hours of talk time and 350 hours of standby.
For photo enthusiasts, the device boasts a 24 mega pixel main snapper on the back with OmniVision OV23850 Sensor, Dual tone Dual LED Flash, Auto Focus, Touch Focus, Loss Less ZOOM, Gesture shots, Smile shots, HDR, Geo-Tagging and records 4K videos at 30fps. For selfie lovers there is an 8 mega pixel front facing auto focus camera with Omnivision OV8865 Sensor.
The Allview X2 Xtreme has all the connectivity options like Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Wi-Fi Direct, Wi-Fi Display, Bluetooth V4.0, MicroUSB V2.0, USB OTG, GPS, NFC, 3.5mm Audio Jack etc. Audio experience is also enhanced via DTS sound and NXP Amplifiers.
