Acer has upped the stakes by announcing Liquid X1. It is the first phone from the company to feature Octa Core processor. The phone will be available in Red and Black colors and is expected to released in Q3 of 2014. While most of the details are out in terms of specifications, company has not revealed information regarding the pricing of the phone.

The Liquid X1 sports 3G and 4G-LTE Connectivity and boasts 1.7Ghz Octa Core Mediatek MT6592 Processor coupled with Mali 450 GPU. Inclusion of 2GB of RAM ensures lag free smooth performace.
The handset comes with 5.7-Inch HD IPS display with 1280 x 720 Pixels Resolution and utilizes Zero Air Gap technology. The phone will run on Android 4.4.2 Kit Kat Operating System out of the box and draws its energy from 2700 mAh Battery. It also has 16GB of Internal Storage with optional Micro SD Card slot for expansion up to 32GB.
The Acer Liquid X1 Features 13 Mega Pixel f/1.8 Aperture, LED Flash, 0.3 Seconds Fact Auto Focus, Digital Zoom, Geo-Tagging and more. There is a 2 Mega Pixel front facing camera as well for Video Calling.
For people with small hands, company has included Acer Zoom Fit making the interface smaller for one hand usage. There is also Acer RAPID for quick Camera and other Application Access.
The phone has all the major connectivity options as well like 2G, 3G, 4G-LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth V4.0, MicroUSB V2.0, A-GPS Support, FM Radio and 3.5mm Audio Jack.
